I’m curious about strategies others have successfully implemented to boost safety awareness on their teams.
I totally get that. Last year we rolled out a buddy system for new hires that paired them with veterans for a month… It really helped with on-the-job training and created a culture of open communication — definitely reduced the number of minor incidents we were seeing.
We’ve found that regular safety briefings each month help keep awareness high… Coupling those with hands-on drills makes a big difference too. @rsmith1985, how often do you do refresher training?
